Job description

The Rabourn Company is a long-established commercial insurance agency with a strong reputation for customer service and long-term client relationships. We’re looking for an Operations Manager to help keep the business running smoothly day to day. 

This is a full-time leadership role where you’d oversee office operations, support staff, improve workflows, and help maintain efficient systems across the agency. You’d work closely with employees, clients, vendors, and leadership to make sure everything stays organized, productive, and customer-focused.

What We’re Looking For

We’d like someone with:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Experience with accounting processes and office operations
  • Comfort using agency management systems plus Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in the insurance industry and/or trust accounting is a plus!

Main Responsibilities

Financial & Accounting

You’d handle or oversee:

·         Accounts receivable/payable

·         Budget creation, tracking and reporting

·         Financial reporting and reconciliations

·         Bank statement reconciliation

·         Preparing documents for CPAs, insurers, and government agencies

·         Maintaining accounting records and systems

HR & Team Management

This role also includes:

·         Managing staff and reviewing work

·         Payroll and time tracking

·         Employee onboarding and offboarding

·         Training and staff support

·         Assisting with evaluations or disciplinary actions when needed

·         SIMPLE IRA administration

 

Operations & Office Management

You’d also help manage:

·         Agency and employee licensing

·         Office equipment and leases

·         Building and storage coordination

·         Computer/equipment maintenance and purchasing

·         General office upkeep

Perks & Details

·         Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

·         One remote day per week (currently Wednesdays)

·         Salary up to $80K depending on experience

·         Medical, dental, and vision benefits

·         SIMPLE IRA after 2 years

·         Office located in south Bellevue with free parking and nice surroundings
