Smith Center Health and Rehab in Smith Center, KS is looking to hire a full-time Business Office Manager (Collections/Billing/HR) to join our team, who will facilitate billing, collections, and HR administrative functions in a health care company! The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all functions of the Business Office. The primary responsibilities are maintaining daily census, billing and cash collections, payroll, and the accurate reporting of same to corporate personnel.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Billing/Collection for Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care (Room and Board, Private Pay and ancillaries) claims
  • Assisting employees during benefits enrollment
  • Processing resident refunds in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate with insurance companies to define billing requirements and assure proper payment of claims
  • Assist with select onboarding duties for new employees
QUALIFICATIONS FOR BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER
  • REQUIRED: 1-2 years' experience in health care related accounting/billing.
  • REQUIRED: 1-2 years' experience billing Medicaid, Medicare, and Private insurance
  • Preferred: experience with Point Click Care.
  • Preferred: experience reviewing payroll.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
  • Computer knowledgeable including word and Excel.
  • A desire to work with seniors.

This position works 8-5 Monday thru Friday.
