The Business Office Manager provides administrative support to the Executive Director. Supervises administrative staff and receptionists. This position is responsible for Community accounting functions including Monthly resident and Medicaid billing; Process cash receipts; Collection of accounts receivable and participation in monthly collection calls; Receipt, process, and coding of vendor invoices; Communication of entrance fee contracts to Home Office to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting; Assisting with tracking and reconciliation of all capital expenditures. Reflects the value that the resident comes first. The employee values the Community as the residents' home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING:
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • A minimum of two years' experience working in a health-related field preferred.
  • One or more years of bookkeeping/accounting experience is preferred.
  • Experience and proficiency with accounting software and computer systems, including Microsoft Office is required.
