Job description

Your Career in Marketing Starts Here
City Wide's franchise locations count on a strong local social presence to win business in their markets, and this role makes that happen. As our Social Media Specialist, you'll research, create, promote, and track social media campaigns for individual franchise locations across the country, partnering with the marketing team to keep social content aligned with campaigns and content marketing efforts in flight. You'll report to the Brand & Content Marketing Manager as part of the City Wide Marketing team, collaborating regularly with colleagues and franchisees alike.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute a unified social media strategy that increases brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across franchisee accounts.
  • Create and manage content calendars, aligning campaigns with organizational goals and franchisee needs.
  • Provide best practices and toolkits that strengthen franchisees' social media execution and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Monitor social media trends and implement innovative tactics to improve performance and lead generation.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, meeting with franchise teams to deliver insights and recommendations.

We believe in transparency. This is a detail-driven, client-service marketing role; you'll be managing a portfolio of franchisee accounts, each with its own goals, personalities, and expectations, and you'll be measured on real numbers: engagement, follower growth, and retention. It's structured, it's fast-paced, and it's not for everyone. But for the right person, someone precise, accountable, and quality-obsessed, this is an incredible launching pad.
Requirements
Here's what matters most to us:
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field is required.
  • You can manage a portfolio of business accounts, balancing priorities with franchisee needs; 1-3 years of B2B social media experience is required, and agency background is preferred.
  • You're precise and detail-oriented; you take pride in work that is correct, on-brand, and on time.
  • You're motivated by measurable results and use data insights to develop and refine campaigns.
  • You communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally, with excellent writing, training, and relationship-building skills.
  • You're organized and proficient across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, with working knowledge of HubSpot or similar automation tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva; video creation and Power BI are a plus.

Benefits
What City Wide Offers You
  • A base salary of $65,000-$78,000, plus a 5% annual bonus, with a clear path to grow as you perform.
  • Real-world B2B marketing experience that opens doors across City Wide and beyond.
  • A collaborative, on-site team environment in Lenexa, KS.

City Wide provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, company paid - life insurance, short and long-term disability, PTO (3 weeks the first year), and a 401k match. The company is known for its collaborative, people-centered culture, offering a fast-paced, and supportive work environment that encourages ongoing learning and development. Employees also enjoy paid time for community service and charity work. Read more about City Wide at www.gocitywide.com
