MMGY Global has an immediate opening for a Content Marketing Specialist in our Kansas City office. The Content Marketing Specialist helps shape and amplify MMGY Global's brand story across earned, owned and shared channels. This role will develop compelling content that showcases the agency's expertise, thought leadership, culture and client success while helping grow our brand presence, strengthen industry connections and support business growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
Content & Editorial Development
  • Develop and execute engaging global brand content for MMGY's earned and owned channels, including digital platforms, social media and other brand touch points.
  • Plan and execute an editorial calendar of thought-provoking content to help drive agency thought leadership and industry positioning in a competitive environment.
  • Support the Director of Marketing and Marketing & Communications Manager in shaping MMGY's brand story through an integrated ecosystem of digital marketing channels, including social media, websites, email marketing, case studies and other content initiatives.

Social Media & Brand Storytelling
  • Serve as the day-to-day lead for MMGY's social media presence, evolving brand channels to amplify business wins, client successes, thought leadership and company culture.
  • Build working knowledge of agency services, products and client success stories as well as contemporary industry challenges to contribute meaningfully to thought leadership, content development and industry engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design leads to deploy and maintain a library of diverse brand assets for use by teammates worldwide.

Growth & Agency Marketing Initiatives
  • Support content development for new business materials as assigned, ensuring alignment with brand voice and global communications strategy.
  • Analyze content and marketing asset performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and recommend optimizations.
  • Support other Growth team initiatives including industry awards programs, agency events, PR programs, brand activations and other strategic marketing projects.

Experience + Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of integrated marketing experience, with a strong portfolio of work from consumer or B2B audiences
  • 4-year college degree, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism or a related area of business preferred
  • Experience supporting content planning, editorial development and distribution across shared and owned channels.
  • Experience managing social media channels for a brand, agency or organization, including content planning, community engagement and performance reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong editorial judgment.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mindset with an eye for creative quality and brand consistency.
  • Comfortable using CRM and reporting modules to connect marketing activity to pipeline outcomes.
  • Familiarity with content discoverability best practices, including SEO, GEO and emerging search optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required; working knowledge of Adobe Suite and WordPress a plus.
  • Creative and strategic thinking capabilities, able to develop new ideas and concepts. A drive to explore new ideas and present new concepts that will contribute towards global company and team objectives.
  • Strong collaborative skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
