Supports business needs and delivers effective learning and development programs for BMO's U.S. Commercial Bank Professional Development team. Coordinates, tracks, maintains, and actively manages designated learning and career development programs, performing periodic reviews, analyzing outcomes, and providing operational insights. Ensures the effective and efficient execution of all program components, including scheduling, logistics, communications, participant management, and reporting.
Key Accountabilities
  • Serves as the primary coordinator for Professional Development learning programs, including credit training, sales training, professional skills development, career readiness initiatives, onboarding programs, and special learning events across the U.S. Commercial Bank.
  • Coordinates end-to-end program administration, including scheduling, registration management, communications, roster tracking, reporting, learning system updates, and participant support.
  • Provides day-to-day project coordination and operational support for learning and development initiatives, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are successfully executed across multiple concurrent programs.
  • Supports the execution of learning strategies that align with U.S. Commercial Bank business priorities and BMO's overall talent and skills development goals.
  • Partners with subject matter experts, facilitators, leaders, and business stakeholders to support the delivery and continuous improvement of learning experiences.
  • Tracks learning participation, completions, feedback, and program outcomes, providing insights and recommendations to improve learner experience and program effectiveness.
  • Supports the execution of instructor-led training sessions, virtual learning programs, leadership events, networking opportunities, and employee development workshops.
  • Maintains learning calendars, program documentation, participant records, resource libraries, and program materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assists in developing and distributing communications, marketing materials, participant guides, surveys, and event-related content to promote learning opportunities and drive engagement.
  • Coordinates logistics for learning events, including venue management, technology setup, facilitator support, materials preparation, and participant experience.
  • Supports the management of external learning vendors and partners, including scheduling, communications, invoicing, and operational coordination.
  • Exercises sound judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve operational challenges while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Thinks creatively and recommends innovative approaches to improve learning delivery, engagement, and program effectiveness.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in supporting teams and working independently
  • Experience supporting program management

Salary:
$45,000.00 - $83,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
