Job description

The Global Learning & Development (L&D) Program Manager will lead the design, governance, and execution of IMC's global learning portfolio across regions. You will partner closely with global business leaders, HR, and regional stakeholders to translate IMC's strategic priorities into scalable learning programs that build leadership capability, accelerate time-to-productivity, and strengthen organizational performance.
Through your leadership, you will collaboratively develop and manage a portfolio of global learning programs to address gaps and build future capability. You will play an integral role in delivering learning programs that are largely custom to IMC: practical, repeatable, and sustainable. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about growing our people and ensuring our programs connect to global strategy, are consistently delivered and well-received across the organization.
Your Core Responsibilities:
  • Own and evolve IMC's global L&D portfolio, ensuring programs align with business strategy and future capability needs
  • Own, optimize, and manage the operations of global L&D programs, including needs analysis, resource allocation, delivery, communications, evaluation, reporting, content evolution, and vendor relationships
  • Drive cross-regional execution, ensuring timelines, milestones, and dependencies are managed effectively
  • Oversee vendors and internal partners to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
  • Use data and feedback to continuously refine and scale high-impact solutions
  • Execute with strong project management skills, including monitoring work plans and managing against milestones, knowing what to prioritize and why, keeping key people informed, and escalating as needed
  • Ensure policies, programs, and guidelines are followed and manage exceptions and escalations
  • Contribute to additional HR and IMC initiatives as needed

Your Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree; Minimum 5+ years of experience in L&D, talent development, or related program leadership roles
  • Significant experience managing complex, multi-regional programs in a matrixed, high-growth environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across levels and geographies
  • Solid grounding in adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Exceptional project management, prioritization, and execution discipline
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insight and action
  • Established track record for taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering (training yourself and partnering with trainers) learning programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needs
  • Significant program management experience in successfully planning, managing, and delivering multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams in a matrixed organization with tight timelines
  • Proven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, concisely and with impact, understanding what is relevant versus what isn't
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify interdependencies between complex issues, data, and outcomes
  • Ability to produce quality deliverables:
    • Aggregate data, complete analysis, and display results visually
    • Translate data into insights and tell a clear, concise, and compelling story tailored to your audience; make asks clear and easily actionable
    • Create clear, concise, professional written communications with a user-friendly layout that readers can follow

This role operates at a global level and will require meaningful international travel. You should expect to travel 25%-30% of the year with trips ranging from 1-3 weeks.
