Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants is looking for an experienced Learning & Development Designer to create engaging learning experiences that build skills, strengthen culture, and support the growth of our restaurant teams and Restaurant Support Center. As a member of the Learning & Development Team, this role designs, develops, and administrates blended learning solutions that drive performance and bring our values to life.
How You Will Succeed:
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs, define project requirements, and deliver effective learning solutions
  • Conduct needs analysis and performance assessments to align training with business objectives .
  • Design, develop, and maintain engaging learning experiences, certification programs, and assessments for hourly and management audience
  • Develop blended learning solutions including eLearning, instructor-led training, virtual learning, performance support tools, videos, job aids, and microlearning grounded in adult learning principles.
  • Create and manage learning experiences that are practical, accurate , and immediately applicable in a hospitality environment
  • Administer Learning Management Systems (LMS), including user support, content management, reporting, and field training.
  • Support virtual learning events, webinars, and video production through planning, content development, facilitation support, and execution
  • Collaborate cross- functionally to develop learning materials that support strategic business initiatives and operational priorities.
  • Plan and manage training content release schedules and project timelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Continuously evaluate and improve learning programs, processes, and tools based on business needs, learner feedback, and industry best practices.
  • Explore emerging learning technologies, AI tools, and innovative approaches to improve learner engagement and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to department projects, conferences, and key organizational events to support Learning & Development objectives .

What You'll Bring:
  • Represent Cooper's Hawk values
  • 3-5 years of experience in an instructional design role, preferably in a hospitality environment
  • Experience applying adult learning theory and design principles to content/program development
  • Experience administering a L earning M anagement S ystem(s), including user/content management and learning analytics
  • Experience using eLearning authoring too l for online content development
  • Strong written communication skills, including editing/reviewing material
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to track and manage multi-faceted content updates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) , Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), Adobe (forms and print production), Video and Audio editing tools
  • Ability to work and manage projects independently
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Compensation Range: $65,000-$75,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
