Estimated Salary Range: $115,000 – $145,000 base + performance-based bonuses



Position Summary


A premier litigation firm located in Coral Gables, Florida is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Insurance Defense Associate Attorney with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience. This opportunity offers the chance to join a high-performing, collaborative legal team that is nationally recognized for its litigation expertise and client service.


The ideal candidate will work across a dynamic caseload involving personal injury defense, professional liability, and construction litigation. You will be entrusted with managing matters from inception through resolution, including court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and client advisement.



Key Responsibilities


  • Handle a full caseload of complex insurance defense litigation
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
  • Conduct depositions of clients, experts, and fact witnesses
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development
  • Provide legal analysis and risk assessments to clients and insurers
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel



Qualifications
