When you join us as an Insurance Verification Representative you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

  • Obtain information on the patient’s eligibility status with insurance companies to ensure proper coverage and payment for services
  • Work closely with insurance providers and referring physicians’ staff to obtain necessary patient history and notes in order to expedite processing.
  • Properly analyze various payor eligibility responses to find the information needed to complete verifications
  • Obtain and confirm insurance pre-authorizations & contact insurance providers via email or phone to review status of authorizations
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the RIS system for each patient, according to established standards

  • Genuinely passionate about customer service and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations
  • Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, vendors & referring physicians

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
