Corporate Controller
Job Summary:
The Corporate Controller is a senior finance leader responsible for overseeing the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes while supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining the company's financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Operations
    • Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
    • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
    • Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
    • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    • Deliver accurate financial reports to executive leadership
  • Internal Controls & Compliance
    • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
    • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits
  • Budgeting & Analysis
    • Support budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with leadership
    • Analyze financial results and provide insights to improve performance
    • Monitor variances and recommend corrective actions
  • Cash & Process Management
    • Oversee cash management and reconcile financial discrepancies
    • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and systems
    • Implement best practices for efficiency and scalability
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
    • Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
  • 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
