Job description

We are currently seeking a Traveling New Patient Coordinator to support our Orthodontic department. This pivotal role will involve traveling between our Dunn (3 times a week) and Durham Miami (2 times a week) locations, following the Orthodontist to assist with new patient consultations.


Position Overview:

As a Traveling New Patient Coordinator, you’ll be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for new Orthodontic patients. You’ll play a vital role in welcoming patients, explaining treatment options, coordinating care, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience across both office locations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct new patient consultations including:

    • Office tours

    • Treatment and financial overview

    • Taking initial records (photos, X-rays, etc.)

    • Scheduling bonding and recall appointments

    • Sending patient and doctor correspondence

  • Prepare and present bonding contracts:

    • Set up contracts prior to bonding appointments

    • Review financial agreements and collect payments

    • Post payments, submit insurance claims, and set up auto-drafts

  • Maintain and manage patient reports and appointment confirmations

  • Schedule ongoing maintenance and follow-up appointments

  • Monitor and respond to office emails

  • Support other administrative and clinical tasks as needed
