Independent insurance broker is seeking Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of commercial lines accounts. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will respond to client calls about policy and coverage questions and consult with clients on policy changes and risk management concerns. This position will be responsible for providing timely and professional day-to-day client service working closely with the assigned Account Executive. Responsibilities:Working knowledge of Property and Casualty accounts such as Artisan Contractors, Hospitality, and ManufacturingResearch and compile answers to client policy and coverage questionsAbility to market/quote account renewals obtaining competitive coverage/cost ratios for the client.Experience with multiple carrier underwriters and online rating portalsIdentify, compile and manage information regarding account renewals.QualificationsMin of 3 years of insurance industry experience related to servicing medium to large commercial accountsProperty and Casualty licenseAMS360 software experience preferred.Knowledge of Insurance and/or Brokerage businessTechnical knowledge of product area or industryAbility to provide consultation and expert advice to management on risk management issues.Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Professional verbal and written communication skillsApplicants must be willing to consent to a background check, including a criminal record check, employment, and education verification.
