The Assistant Branch Manager role is a pivotal role responsible for the efficient and compliant operation of the branch. This leadership position involves overseeing day-to-day operations, scheduling, goal achievement, and fostering a positive work environment. Additionally, the Assistant Branch Manager acts as a point of contact in the branch manager's absence and plays a crucial role in coaching and developing the branch team to ensure success while providing exceptional service to customers.
Responsibilities that we would like for you to be excited about:
  1. Always Fulfill Relationship Banker and Senior Relationship Banker duties while setting the example for the team as a working Supervisor.
  2. Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and continue to build relationships with our team through regular 1on1s to connect.
  3. Create development plans for employees to assist in establishing career paths, achieving sales targets and customer service goals.
  4. Foster a positive work environment by leading by example and maintaining open communication with team members.
  5. Build a network of business contacts and attend community events to increase the bank's visibility and attract potential customers, resulting in direct contribution to building the business via results and key performance indicators.
  6. Refer customers to specialized departments such as mortgage, wealth management and insurance.
  7. Assist in managing the branch budgets, controlling expenses, and maximizing profitability.
  8. Oversee daily branch operations by assisting with scheduling, audits and the logistical components of cash handling.

Work Hours: Hours will vary depending on location assigned. Consistent weekend availability on Saturdays during the hours of 8:30am - 1:00pm.
