Mission

We are seeking an Assistant Controller for a manufacturing company located in Laval.
Under the supervision of the controller, your duties will include:

  • Participate in the monthly closing process (journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis)
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and monitor the budget
  • Prepare tax returns and certain tax reports
  • Support external auditors and prepare year-end documents
  • Assist in the preparation of financial administrative documents
  • Manage the operations of two entities, including intercompany transactions
  • Monitor cash flow (bank accounts and credit cards)
  • Use EPICOR and QuickBooks, particularly for bank reconciliations
  • Other related tasks

What we’re looking for:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • At least 2-3 years of experience
  • Corporate experience (a plus)
  • Bilingual in French and English
