About Stephen Benjamin Insurance Agency

For more than 85 years, Stephen Benjamin Insurance Agency has helped individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. Today, under fourth-generation family leadership, we're building on that legacy as a growing, woman-owned independent agency focused on delivering exceptional client service while investing in our team, embracing technology, and building the next generation of our agency.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor who wants to grow with us.

About the Role

We believe insurance is still a relationship business.

You'll help individuals and families make informed insurance decisions while developing long-term client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of Stephen Benjamin Insurance Agency.
You'll be supported by an experienced client service team that handles much of the day-to-day administrative work. That allows you to focus on building relationships, advising clients, and developing new opportunities.

  • Conduct insurance reviews and educate clients on coverage options and potential gaps
  • Quote, write, and recommend personal insurance solutions

  • Continue developing insurance knowledge through licensing and ongoing education
  • Represent the agency professionally in the community and at local events

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Professional, organized, and self-motivated
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people
  • Ability to balance new business sales and long-term client relationships
  • Comfortable networking and building community connections
  • Insurance experience preferred but not required for the right candidate
  • Massachusetts Property & Casualty license preferred or willingness to obtain

What Makes Our Agency Different

  • Independent agency representing multiple respected insurance carriers
  • Relationship-first approach centered on education and advocacy
  • Fourth-generation, woman-owned agency with deep community roots
  • Collaborative, supportive team environment
  • Modern, growing agency investing in technology and its people
  • Meaningful opportunity for long-term career growth
