ABOUT THE ROLE

ย 

Under direct supervision, provides a variety of administrative and clerical support services to an organizational unit. Projects a professional company image through in person and phone interaction.

This is a 36 month contract position.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

ย 

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Ensures that all work is conducted in compliance with all administrative policies and procedures.
  • Provides excellent customer service to employees, external customers, vendors and visitors. Exceeds both internal and external customers' expectations of service.
  • Ensures quality control of work by developing clear, error-free documents to achieve a credible and professional presence in all written and electronic communication.
  • Prioritizes work to ensure that Manager is provided all relevant business information with accuracy and timeliness to be able to positively impact the business.
  • Ensure that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed within the department.
  • Types memos, edits and proofreads correspondence, forms and reports. Copies, routes and distributes correspondence and reports as requested. Files and retrieves documents, records and reports. Maintains records and management systems.
  • Assembles relevant data and compiles information as directed to meet deadlines.
  • Answers telephone and screen calls, schedules meetings and appointments. May open and distribute mail.
  • Performs general office duties such as ordering supplies, processing purchase orders, updating department phone lists, etc. May assist with overflow work from other administrative/executive assistants and files in for the office receptionist as needed.
  • Arranges travel following general instructions; checks with supervisor in making significant changes.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Required Work Experience: 2-4 years

Required Technical Skills: Intermediate computer skills in SAP, word processing and spreadsheets. Multi-line telephone system, PC, Printer, Fax Machine, Copier, Postage Machine and LCD Projector

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
