Job Description
Take ownership of a broad range of accounting responsibilities within a small, fast-paced professional association. In this hands-on role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll, reconciliations, and budgeting while working closely with organizational leadership. What You Will Do
  • Handle accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger activity
  • Prepare reconciliations, financial reports, financial statements, and supporting documentation
  • Process payroll through a third-party vendor and prepare related reports
  • Assist with annual budgeting, variance reporting, grant reporting, and expenditure tracking
  • Support membership dues, event registrations, and other accounting or administrative needs as required
What You Need
  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and intermediate or better Microsoft Excel skills
  • Previous payroll experience; nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities
