What You’ll Do:
  • Review and analyze statutory filings, financial statements, and supplemental schedules
  • Lead complex investment, cash, and general ledger reconciliations across multiple data sources
  • Research and interpret NAIC SAP guidance, regulatory changes, and technical accounting matters
  • Partner with auditors, regulators, and leadership on reporting, compliance, and audit support
  • Improve reporting processes, controls, and audit readiness through process enhancement initiatives
 
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of insurance accounting experience with strong NAIC SAP exposure (required)
  • Experience with statutory reporting, audits, regulator interaction, and complex reconciliations
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivots, lookups, formulas, and large data analysis
  • Strong technical accounting research, analytical, and problem-solving ability
  • Proven ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and manage multiple deadlines
