Job Opportunity: Accounting Assistant
Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as an Accounting Assistant at our Minden location.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all guests feel welcome and are appropriately checking in and out of the facility
  • Administer phone calls
  • Process grain settlements
  • Manage accounts payable
  • Support customer-related tasks
  • Run errands and handle mail as required
  • Maintain adequate quantities of office and facility supplies
Working Hours:
  • Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm with additional hours required during harvest
Qualifications:
  • Experience in grain accounting and accounts payable
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or business with an emphasis in accounting preferred
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
