We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As a Permanent Accountant, you will be at the heart of our financial activities, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of our financial information.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring comprehensive compliance with regulatory and reporting standards.
  • Supervise the preparation and detail review of balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis.
  • Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Lead the ERP implementation process, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal utilization of the system.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights for decision making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
  • Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, general accounting, and ERP implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel, and experience with accounting software.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
