Century is looking for a Support Service Specialist at our home office in LIncoln, Nebraska to provide friendly customer service to our tenants and clients as well as full administrative support to all managers and teams of the Company. Specific Responsibilities

This entry-level position is a great way to start your property management career. Ideal for candidates with customer service experience who need a little change of scenery and who like to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks! Read on if you feel this role is right for you:

Greets and communicates with all guests of the Company and uses various multimedia for both internal and external communication.

Assists tenants in different aspects of residency - completing applications, reviewing move-in paperwork, collecting rent payments, copying keys, submitting maintenance requests, answering basic account questions, and preparing move-ins.

Supports all departments of the Company by performing a variety of tasks:

  • General Administration – updates current software with tenant changes, processes documents for new and deleted properties, sorts and distributes all incoming and outgoing mail, monitors printer activity, and distributes incoming emails. Maintains the Company’s residential, commercial, and client files. Electronically scans and attaches all documents, correspondence, and legal documents and maintains electronic and paper files.
  • Accounting – assists with tenant portal account set up, processes move-out documents, and assists with making sure rent payments are securely collected
  • Screening Specialist – inputs applicant information into appropriate software systems, initiates credit report requests, assembles move-in information, and follows up on move-ins, pet tracking, and roommate change requests
  • Maintenance – enter work orders and calls out to maintenance technicians/vendors as needed
  • Century Teams – creates and sends notices to tenants, communicates tenant needs/concerns/complaints to appropriate teams for resolution, pulls paperwork for all move-out requests, and electronically scans/attaches all tenant correspondence.

This is a full-time permanent position. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm. This is a seasonal position through September 30th with up to 40 hours of work per week. Part-time hours may be assigned on a permanent basis after this date.
