Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support our growing book of business. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in commercial insurance while working in a structured, team-oriented environment.

You will work closely with Producers and clients to manage day-to-day service needs, support renewals, and ensure a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day service requests for commercial insurance clients

  • Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs)

  • Assist with policy reviews and coverage comparisons

  • Support the renewal process (data gathering, submissions, proposal prep)

  • Review audits and assist in resolving discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in agency management systems

  • Communicate with carriers and underwriters to service accounts efficiently

  • Deliver a high level of responsiveness and professionalism to clients

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience in commercial insurance (preferred)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AMS systems is a plus

Licensing Requirement

  • Insurance Producer License preferred but not required

  • Candidates must be willing to obtain their license (with support from the company)
