About the Role

As an Insurance Account Representative / Account Manager, you will be an important part of our agency’s success. You will build lasting customer relationships, manage existing accounts, identify coverage needs, and help customers make informed insurance decisions.

This role combines relationship management, customer service, insurance expertise, and sales. You will have opportunities to develop your skills, grow your book of business, and contribute directly to the growth of our agency.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities to better protect customers
  • Recommend, explain, and sell appropriate insurance products and services
  • Proactively contact customers and leads to identify insurance needs
  • Handle and resolve customer questions and complex service issues
  • Follow up consistently with customers and prospects
  • Maintain accurate customer information and documentation
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of State Farm products and services
  • Meet individual and agency performance goals
  • Collaborate with teammates to provide an exceptional customer experience


Qualifications

  • Property & Casualty license required (or must be able to obtain)
  • Life & Health license required (or must be able to obtain)
  • Previous insurance sales or account management experience preferred
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable having sales conversations and asking for the business
  • Proven ability to meet performance goals
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable
  • Coachable and willing to continuously learn and improve
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are a major plus
