Position Summary:

This individual will proactively manage the overall workflow and lifecycle for an assigned book of business. This person will act as the client relationship manager with responsibility for overall account servicing and maintenance to new and existing Commercial Lines clients. This role is within our Real Estate Practice Group and strictly adheres to our Corporate Standards of Excellence and procedural guidelines spelled out in our Professional Procedure Manual.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Function as main point of contact for client. Address general questions, provide guidance on coverage and inform/educate clients on risk and exposures.
  2. Process client transactions, including, but not limited to applications, quotations, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, certificates, endorsement requests, binders, invoicing, issue ID cards, and follow up correspondence within agency and industry standards.
  3. Identify cross sell opportunities for new and existing clients.
  4. Obtain Workers Compensation modification worksheets for (Sr.) Commercial Risk Advisors review.
  5. Responsible for renewal timeline including renewal quotations from incumbent.
  6. Set up masters & issue renewal certificates or order from Ateam.
  7. Set up CCD form upon receipt of policy in New Mail.
  8. Run monthly expiration list, outstanding renewal list, and binder list.
  9. Assist with accounting company notification.
  10. Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and carrier inquiries, and assists PATRA.
  11. Maintain client files and tasks, including documenting pertinent written correspondence and/or verbal conversations in ImageRight/Sagitta.
  12. Utilize online company rating on carrier websites, upload endorsements and policies as needed.
  13. Manage task list in ImageRight.
  14. Review audits.
  15. Respond to policy checking discrepancy questions.
  16. Order loss runs or assign to ATeam if not urgent.
  17. Serve as back up to other (Sr.) Account Managers when requested.
  18. Attend & participate in mandatory training as required.
  19. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Fluency in MS Office products.
  2. Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Strong knowledge of insurance coverage and terminology.
  4. Ability to multitask and operate in an ever-changing environment is critical.
  5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
  6. Ability to communicate clearly, to work well with others, and to manage time effectively.

Education and Experience:

  1. Producer license is Mandatory.
  2. 1+ years’ experience in Insurance, preferably at an agency.
  3. AAI, AIS designations preferred.
  4. Bachelor’s degree in a relative field preferred.
