Job Overview - Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:

Atlantic Group is hiring a Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager for our client in Providence, RI. In this hybrid role, you will manage a book of Personal Lines business, handle renewals and policy changes, and serve as the primary client contact. You'll identify cross-sell opportunities, ensure procedural compliance, and work with leading carriers to deliver tailored coverage solutions. Ideal for licensed professionals with strong Personal Lines experience, especially coastal and surplus lines.
Responsibilities as the Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:
  • Account Management: Oversee an assigned book of Personal Lines clients, handling renewals, policy changes, endorsements, and service requests in accordance with company procedures.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing coverage questions, resolving issues, and maintaining high service standards through proactive communication.
  • Cross-Sell & Upsell: Identify opportunities to expand coverage by recommending additional Personal Lines products such as Home, Auto, and Umbrella policies.
  • Carrier Collaboration: Work with national and regional insurance carriers to quote, bind, and manage policies, including surplus lines and coastal risks.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to internal procedures and compliance requirements.
Qualifications for the Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience in an agency setting, with strong exposure to surplus lines and coastal risk accounts.
  • Licensure: Active Rhode Island Producer License required (AAI, AIS, or other insurance designations preferred).
