We are looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team in Newton Centre, Massachusetts and help care for the businesses that trust us with their insurance needs. In this role, you will be part problem-solver, part guide, and part steady voice when clients need answers they can trust. Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts and support clients with day-to-day service needs
  • Handle policy updates, endorsements, certificates of insurance, renewals, and other account requests
  • Write new lines of business for existing clients and new clients to the agency either from referrals or call/walk-ins
  • Work closely with clients to answer questions, resolve concerns, and help them feel supported
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to process changes, gather information, and keep accounts moving forward
  • Review policies and documentation for accuracy, making sure important details are handled correctly
  • Prepare renewal materials and assist with the renewal process from start to finish
  • Maintain accurate records in the agency management system and keep files organized
  • Identify account changes or coverage needs that may require additional attention
  • Build long-term client relationships through reliable service and clear communication

Requirements
  • Experience in commercial lines account management, preferred or customer service in general
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, carriers, and internal teams
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and standard office software
  • Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and follow-up tasks with consistency
  • Active Massachusetts insurance P & C license, or willingness to obtain one which would be covered by our company
