JOB SUMMARY:

The Restoration Technician at Renova One will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks related to renovation, restoration, and maintenance projects. This role involves providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards. The Technician will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that all work is completed on time, safely, and in compliance with project specifications.

Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Assist in the assessment of property damage caused by water, fire, smoke, or other disasters
  • Remove debris, salvageable materials, and damaged contents from affected areas
  • Clean, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces, walls, floors, and other structural components using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
  • Assist in the removal and disposal of damaged materials, including drywall, insulation, carpeting, and flooring
  • Set up and operate drying equipment, dehumidifiers, and air movers to dry out affected areas and prevent mold growth
  • Assist in the reconstruction and restoration of damaged structures, including framing, drywall installation, painting, and finishing
  • Document work performed, including photos, measurements, and written descriptions, for insurance claims and billing purposes
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the job site
  • Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to coordinate restoration activities and ensure project objectives are met

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restoration is required
  • Ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical Demands: Frequent heavy lifting up to lift 50-75lbs


Schedule Variations: Must be ON-CALL (6:00p.m-6:00a.m.) one day per week and one weekend per month. Schedule will be communicated clearly, and often. It is the Technician’s responsibility to contact a qualified replacement if you are unable to respond due to scheduled or unscheduled absences.
