About the Role
As a Pure Barre Fitness Instructor, you'll lead clients through the Pure Barre experience, creating an engaging, empowering, and results-driven class environment. You'll inspire and motivate members while building genuine relationships that keep them coming back to the studio.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with others, has a passion for fitness and wellness, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We believe exceptional experiences are found in the details, and we take pride in creating a welcoming, polished studio where every client feels valued.
This is a part-time position. Candidates should be available to teach a minimum of four classes per week (classes are offered early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in dance, fitness, cheerleading, barre, or group fitness is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout a 50-minute class
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises, including full body pushups and lifting hand weights
  • Strong sense of musicality and ability to keep rhythm and count to the beat of music
  • Active lifestyle and passion for health and wellness
  • Ability to learn and retain choreography changes on a quarterly basis
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Boutique fitness experience is a plus but not required. We provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals.
Responsibilities
  • Lead up to 25 participants through the Pure Barre experience
  • Deliver safe, engaging, and motivating classes that provide an exceptional client experience
  • Build meaningful relationships with members and foster a strong sense of community
  • Prepare diligently before each class, including studying choreography and planning class flow
  • Learn and execute quarterly choreography updates
  • Create a welcoming, energetic, and inclusive studio environment
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and polished studio
  • Attend required trainings and team meetings
  • Support studio events, promotions, and community initiatives as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Training & Certification
All instructors are required to successfully complete Pure Barre's comprehensive training program, which includes a four-day training at one of our corporate training centers, as well as significant at-home study and preparation before becoming eligible to teach classes.
Because of the investment in our instructors, a minimum 18-month commitment to teaching is required before attending training.
