Come be a part of what's next. About The Role The Netflix XD Operations team is seeking a Senior Design Program Manager to join our XD team. You will be establishing and optimizing best practices for NCXD (New Content XD), a team that delivers Live, Podcasts, and other new content bets that directly impacts the Netflix experience.

XD creates rich sensory experiences that spark an emotional reaction with our members, driving connection, conversation, and engagement. As part of XD, you will bring your program management and people skills to drive cross-functional programs at scale. As a Design Program Manager, you will drive strategy to pixels by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of designers, content designers, design technologists, researchers, product managers, and engineers.

Optimize and scale operational best practices across NCXD, in partnership with DPMs & Leaders, along with resourcing, prioritization, and orchestration with XFN and XD partners. Connects initiatives to reduce redundancies or spot opportunities for projects to benefit from a shared approach. Establish, own and drive 0-1 programs that enable designers to focus on innovating on our product effectively and ensure that our partner teams bring innovation to life.

This includes adding clarity to initiatives, teams, and strategies to ensure that XD is deeply connected to the context, optimized to execute & highly aligned Partner with design leadership & cross functional product teams to establish roadmaps and maintain them through understanding business priorities and cultivating strong relationships across experience design Establish and activate engagement models and cross-functional collaboration channels with key design partners and stakeholders, balancing multiple priorities and business demands Support & inform team health & resourcing alongside design leadership Successfully influence and collaborate with design leaders, designers, product managers, researchers, and engineers Advocate for our user experience by ensuring the design team has time and space to apply rigorous design practices in the product development lifecycle The Must-Haves 7+ years of applicable program management experience within a product design function, ideally within a technology-based entertainment environment Experience with integrating nascent content types into existing product frameworks Experience working with and scaling innovative experience design teams, who are working within 0 to 1 products or new business areas Experience and deep understanding of the design process, strong ability to drive design deliverables out of ambiguous business requirements/goals Proven experience in designing and operationalizing agentic workflows to drive efficiency and operational scale Capable of working at multiple altitudes simultaneously, seeing the big picture and aligning design operations with broader business goals Relentless in problem solving and driving clarity through strong dot connecting, communication, pattern spotting and collaboration Influential communicator who can effectively convey ideas and drive consensus. Adept at navigating complex organizational structures and aligning multiple product stakeholders, including at the VP level. Master of building relationships and fostering collaboration across diverse teams, with competing priorities Experience working in continuous delivery environments where the pace is fast A willingness to fail fast and learn Earnest, mature, and ego-free.

You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.

The range for this role is $260,000.00 - $370,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off. Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off.
