How you'll make an impact in this role
- Apply adult learning theory and instructional design models to create diverse EHR and clinical training solutions, including CBT modules, videos, mobile learning, in context learning, assessments, and rubrics.
- Analyze clinical workflows and organizational needs to document precise instructional texts and scripts for technical training programs.
- Lead basic to moderately complex projects, successfully integrating, coordinating, and planning resources to achieve strategic organizational goals.
- Manage daily priorities for a governance team, providing targeted guidance to associates and resolving complex or challenging program issues.
- Prepare and deliver data-driven status reports and program outcomes to leadership using training measurement and evaluation best practices.
- Administer new learning technology tools by managing contracts/licenses, developing/facilitating new user training, and executing user acceptance reviews.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional requirements you'll need
- Instructional design experience for Cerner EHR training
- Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate, Storyline/Rise, and Captivate
- Experience with facilitating virtual training using Adobe Connect and developing/maintaining SmartSheets for tracking/monitoring
