Position: K-12 Education Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40–$50/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Construct K-12 scenarios spanning curriculum design, multi-stakeholder IEP/504 planning, and complex district budget or policy review cycles.
  • Build education tasks across instructional design, classroom differentiation, special education, assessment, standards alignment, student support services, and family/community engagement.
  • Develop education operations scenarios using tools like PowerSchool, Canvas/Google Classroom, state assessment platforms, and district-level MTSS/RTI systems.
  • Apply K-12 pedagogical frameworks such as Universal Design for Learning, standards-based grading, data-driven instruction, and restorative practices to produce reference lesson plans, IEP documentation, and administrator-level communications.
  • Author rubrics that distinguish authentic K-12 educator judgment from generic pedagogical or textbook recall.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 5+ years teaching, administering, or leading instruction at a public or private K-12 school, district office, or state education agency.
  • Direct ownership of classroom instruction, IEP/special education caseloads, curriculum programs, or school/district-level initiatives.
  • Fluency in K-12 education tooling and frameworks, plus understanding of how school budgets, state standards compliance, and family/community engagement actually work.

Preferred

  • Prior rubric, curriculum-writing, or teacher-training content authorship.
