What jobs pay $500,000 a year in the US?

Jobs that can pay $500,000 or more annually include specialized roles such as senior executives, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and certain high-level professionals in finance, law, or technology. These positions often require advanced degrees, extensive experience, and sometimes ownership of a business or high-risk investment. Compensation varies widely based on industry, location, and individual performance.

What are Installer Trainees?

Installer Trainees are entry-level workers who assist with installing products, systems, or equipment under the supervision of experienced installers. They learn on the job, gaining practical skills and knowledge in areas such as construction, HVAC, electrical, or other technical fields. Their responsibilities often include preparing materials, following safety procedures, and supporting the installation team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and correctly.

Do trainee jobs get paid?

Installer trainee jobs are typically paid positions, providing a wage or stipend while trainees learn skills such as installation techniques and safety protocols. Compensation varies by company and location but is common to receive pay during the training period.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

An installer trainee typically earns less than $10,000 a month initially, but experienced roles such as specialized trades, sales positions, or certain entrepreneurial ventures can reach or exceed that income level without a college degree. High-paying trades like electrical or plumbing work, or careers in sales and real estate, often require skills, certifications, or licenses rather than a degree.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Installer Trainee, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Installer Trainee, you need basic mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with hand and power tools, measuring devices, and safety protocols is typically required, while on-the-job training or certifications like OSHA may be beneficial. Dependability, strong communication, and a willingness to learn set standout candidates apart in this entry-level role. These skills and qualities are crucial for ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient installation work as part of a professional team.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

Jobs that can pay $2,000 a day typically include high-level roles such as specialized contractors, surgeons, or experienced consultants, often requiring advanced skills, certifications, or significant experience. Job description

Landscape Lighting Installer/ Trainie

Lighting Installer / Lead Installer Trainee

Peak Outdoor Lighting is hiring a full-time Lighting Installer / Lead Installer Trainee.

This is a hands-on job for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade, work outside, and grow with a small company. You do not need lighting experience to apply. We are looking for someone reliable, coachable, hard-working, and interested in building real-world skills.

This could be a great fit for a college student, recent graduate, trade school student, or someone early in their career who wants more than a basic hourly job.

You will start by learning landscape lighting installs, repairs, troubleshooting, and holiday lighting. Over time, this role can grow into leading installs, running a small crew during the holiday season, and helping manage day-to-day field operations.

Pay

$20-$30 per hour depending on experience, reliability, skill level, and ability to lead.

Schedule

Full-time position. Hours can vary by season and workload, but we are looking for someone who wants steady work and long-term growth.

When install work is slower, paid work may include training, organizing inventory, cleaning and stocking the work vehicle, preparing materials, helping with repairs, and hanging door hangers in neighborhoods where we are already working.

What You’ll Do

Install low-voltage landscape lighting systems
Troubleshoot and repair outdoor lighting systems
Install seasonal and permanent holiday lighting
Keep the work vehicle clean, stocked, and organized
Help organize tools, materials, and inventory
Help with local marketing when needed
Communicate professionally with homeowners
Learn how to lead jobs and eventually manage a small crew

What We’re Looking For

Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic
Willingness to learn
Good attention to detail
Comfortable working outside
Comfortable using tools, ladders, and basic equipment
Able to lift, carry, dig, and work on your feet
Professional attitude around customers
Someone who wants responsibility and growth, not just a paycheck

Experience with landscaping, irrigation, electrical, low-voltage, construction, or holiday lighting is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

This is not a desk job. You will be working outside, learning with your hands, solving problems, and building skills that can grow into a leadership role.
