Job description

The Senior Project Manager/SPM is the cornerstone of the mentorship program for each region of Pavilion Construction. The position is a critical role model, a proven problem solver, and an effective leader. They are skilled, experienced, and empowered leader that our project management teams look to for guidance. Theey are aware, available, and engaged in the business interests of Pavilion Construction and understand that the Pavilion brand is dependent upon the quality and ongoing development of the personnel in their region.
This position is responsible for assigning appropriate teams to each project, periodically assessing staff strengths and weaknesses, and achieving continuous, measurable improvement of staff's interpersonal, professional, and technical skills. Great teams are essential to great results.
SPM is a seasoned and capable project manager who demonstrates the capacity to manage multiple projects and staff concurrently, constantly monitoring company profitability and schedules; influencing changes that improve bottom-line performance, brand reputation, and client experience. They are a substantial resource of technical, strategic, and procedural insight, recruiting construction professionals to the company and developing teams in a scalable fashion.
Qualifications for this position:
  • Can demonstrate 8 years' experience working on multi-family/senior housing/hospitality projects.
  • Renovation experience required. Historical renovation experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate 5 years of performing the function of project manager, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a lead role in managing projects of more than $15MM.
  • Are competent in using MS Office Suite (to include Project) and estimating software, Procore, and scheduling software.
  • Can demonstrate leadership positions in your professional career
  • Having completed 4 years of post-graduate education (i.e., journeyman, trade school, college, etc.) is a plus!
