What You'll Do
You'll focus on offering solutions to new and existing small-to-medium business customers. You'll also create effective strategies for selling bundled services. Here's more on what that'll look like:
  • Handle inbound business customer calls related to new service activation, service upgrades, and account transfers, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide overflow support across additional call queues as needed, including assisting with misrouted inquiries to ensure timely resolution.
  • Proactively follow up on sales opportunities, installations, and customer inquiries to ensure timely resolution of issues and a high-quality customer experience.
  • Generate new business leads through proactive outreach and referral requests from existing customers, while cultivating long-term client relationships and building a strong, repeat customer base.
  • Educating customers on installed products, service offerings, billing and charges.
  • Listening to customers to understand their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Developing and delivering proposals and presentations based on clients' business needs.
  • Assessing the serviceability of client locations and negotiating pricing, service levels and terms with clients.
  • Collaborating with sales engineers to find appropriate solutions and resolve installation or service issues.
  • Performing ROI assessments to ensure sales profitability.
  • Generating new leads and requesting referrals from existing customers.
  • Working with sales support to complete orders and maintain customer satisfaction and sharing customer insights and feedback with the marketing team.

Who You Are
As a patient and strategic salesperson, you're committed to the long game. You're not just about making a sale - you're about building lasting relationships. You also have the following:
Minimum:
  • 5 years of experience in a related field; or a high school diploma/GED with 3 years of experience; or an associate degree, a bachelor's degree or certification in a related discipline.
  • Proficiency with computers and common business software.

Preferred:
  • An associate degree or technical certification in a related discipline.
  • 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting quotas.
  • 2 years of experience selling over the phone.
  • 6 months of experience selling telecommunications products and services.

USD 17.40 - 26.06 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $17.40 - $26.06/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $28,340.00.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
