What is an inside sales advisor?

Inside Sales Advisors are sales professionals who primarily conduct sales activities remotely, typically via phone, email, or video conferencing, rather than meeting clients in person. They are responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, presenting products or services, and closing sales. Inside Sales Advisors often work closely with marketing and outside sales teams to nurture leads and build long-term customer relationships. Their goal is to drive revenue growth and provide excellent customer service from within the company’s office or remotely.

How does an inside sales advisor typically collaborate with other departments to close deals?

Inside Sales Advisors frequently work closely with marketing, customer service, and product teams to ensure a smooth sales process. They coordinate with marketing to align outreach strategies, share customer feedback with product teams to address client needs, and partner with customer service to guarantee post-sale satisfaction. This cross-functional collaboration not only helps address customer concerns swiftly but also contributes to higher conversion rates and customer retention. Regular communication and team meetings are common to keep everyone on the same page.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an inside sales advisor, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Inside Sales Advisor, you need strong sales acumen, product knowledge, and excellent communication skills, often supported by a degree in business or related fields. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, sales automation tools, and telephony systems is typically required. Resilience, active listening, and persuasive interpersonal skills help you build rapport and effectively address client needs. These abilities are crucial for consistently meeting sales targets, fostering customer loyalty, and contributing to overall business growth.

Job description

Solution Advisor - Inside Sales

Location: Park City, UT (Onsite at Jeremy Ranch)

Compensation: $68,000 Base + Uncapped Commission

Company: Powered by MRP

About the Opportunity

Are you a hungry, driven, inside sales professional tired of pushing a single, rigid product line? At Powered by MRP, we’re changing how healthcare providers source, manage, and service medical aesthetic equipment. As the industry’s first end-to-end marketplace, we give our team the freedom to be truly brand-agnostic. You won't just be pitching a product; you’ll be consulting, backed by unbiased data and a massive portfolio of new and pre-owned devices. We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Park City team—someone ready to own their pipeline, build genuine relationships with clinicians, and accelerate their career in a high-growth environment.

The Role

As an Account Executive, you will manage the full sales cycle for healthcare providers looking to upgrade or expand their equipment. You won't be reading from a script; you’ll be having real, consultative conversations.

  • Drive Discovery: Run high-quality discovery calls with inbound leads and outbound prospects to uncover their clinical needs and business goals.
  • Build Solutions: Use our proprietary LaserMatch software data to recommend the right mix of equipment, trade-ins, and service contracts.
  • Close the Deal: Manage negotiations and close transactions with complete transparency, maintaining a clean and accurate pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Hustle & Grow: Conduct strategic outbound outreach to build your book of business while actively absorbing coaching and industry knowledge.

Who We Are Looking For

You understand that B2B sales is about listening, solving problems, and consistent execution.

  • You have 1–3 years of closing experience in a B2B environment (Medical, high-ticket sales, or capital equipment preferred).
  • You are highly coachable, competitive, and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture.
  • You know your way around a CRM and understand that a disciplined daily routine is the secret to hitting quota.
  • You can work on site Monday through Friday at our Park City headquarters.

Why Join Powered by MRP?

Our headquarters is minutes from world-class skiing, but the real draw is our trajectory. After years of bootstrapped growth, we recently closed a major Series A funding round led by Aries Capital Partners and Swell Collective. More information can be found here about how we disrupt the industry and how our investors share our vision.

This is strategic backing from people who know how to scale market-defining companies. We believe the people building the company should own it. That’s why our employees are stakeholders. Beyond base, uncapped commissions, and equity, we offer comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k), paid time off, and clear pathways to senior roles.

The Bottom Line

If you want to sell with integrity, out-work your competition, and actually own a piece of the company you are building, this is where you need to be.
