About the Position
The Inside Sales Advisor is a high-energy, consultative sales role responsible for engaging prospective students and families and guiding them through The Princeton Review's educational services portfolio. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate test preparation, admissions counseling, and academic support solutions while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role is designed for a motivated and relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and is energized by achieving and exceeding performance goals. The Inside Sales Advisor will combine strong communication skills, consultative selling techniques, and operational discipline to drive revenue growth while building long-term relationships with students and families throughout their educational journey.
What You'll Do
Sales & Customer Engagement
  • Earn the business of students and families through consultative sales conversations regarding standardized test preparation, admissions counseling, and academic support services offered by The Princeton Review
  • Use a consultative sales approach to assess customer needs, provide recommendations, address objections, and guide customers through the purchasing process
  • Build long-term rapport and credibility with students and families to support ongoing educational needs and future service opportunities
  • Embody and communicate The Princeton Review mission and brand experience in every customer interaction

Revenue & Performance
  • Achieve and strive to exceed monthly individual and team sales and revenue targets
  • Maintain and improve critical sales metrics in partnership with team leads and managers
  • Manage a large sales pipeline while balancing inbound phone coverage, outbound follow-up, and customer outreach efforts
  • Track sales activity accurately and consistently using Salesforce.com and other systems

Collaboration & Operations
  • Partner collaboratively with the sales team to foster a competitive, positive, and motivational team culture
  • Support additional initiatives and assist in delivering an exceptional enrolled student experience
  • Maintain strong organizational discipline while managing multiple priorities in a remote environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Who You Are
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • You have at least one year of direct-to-consumer sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • You are highly competitive and have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • You are personable, enthusiastic, and able to quickly establish trust and rapport with prospective customers
  • You are adaptable and eager to learn quickly while operating with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • You possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including effective listening, probing, objection handling, and problem resolution
  • You are highly organized and able to effectively manage pipelines, tasks, and customer follow-up activity
  • You are comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with prospective customers you have not previously met
  • You are proficient with technology and CRM systems; experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
  • You are self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected with managers and teammates
  • You have experience or interest in education, test preparation, admissions, or academic support services

US Pay Range
$87,000-$145,000 USD
