One of our clients in Washington DC needs a Technical Writer.

  • Position: Innovative Solutions Coordinator
  • Location: Washington DC
  • Travel: None anticipated
  • Position Type: Proposal
Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts in identifying, evaluating, and managing opportunities for groundbreaking projects aligned with the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Health (ARPA-H) mission.
  • Act as a central hub for creative ideas, managing the pipeline for innovative research initiatives, partnerships, and funding opportunities that drive measurable and scalable impact on human health outcomes.
  • Facilitate the identification and evaluation of promising ideas via solution summaries and proposals for high-impact projects that align with ARPA-H goals.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of potential projects and initiatives, ensuring opportunities are strategically reviewed, prioritized, and advanced.
  • Track project progress and ensure alignment with ARPA-H's mission, funding priorities, and timelines.
  • Serve as a liaison, connecting internal teams with external stakeholders to foster collaboration for innovative solutions.
  • Implement systems to ensure seamless coordination between internal teams evaluating research opportunities and external collaborators.
  • Conduct preliminary analysis of proposals and opportunities to ensure alignment with ARPA-H priorities and funding strategy.
  • Track and report metrics related to project outcomes and long-term impact.
  • Provide data-driven insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in a business, management, journalism, technical or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, innovation management, or similar roles in healthcare, research, or technology-focused organizations.
  • Familiarity with research funding processes in government agencies or other grant-based organizations.
  • Understanding and creating project schedules and timelines.
  • Strong professional writing skills with an ability to prepare effective documentation including presentation slides.
  • Detail-oriented and adept at multitasking in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to respond quickly and manage changing priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and support diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate projects based on feasibility, potential impact, and funding requirements.
  • Must have SETA experience supporting a Government Research agency (ARPA-H, DARPA, ONR, R&E, AFRL, etc.) with preference given to the ARPAs.
