Meet the team:

The Logistics and Distribution (L&D) organization is looking for a dynamic leader for the Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt on the Logistics Excellence team to transform the ways of working to a world class standard! As a change agent, you create, standardize, and continuously improve L&D processes & systems to ensure the delivery of best-in-class services to our customers in a cost-effective manner. This position will lead L&D initiatives to achieve Logistics Excellence and to support scaling initiatives.

Where you come in:

  • You lead initiatives (such as lean/six sigma, process excellence) setting the roadmap, standards, and cadence to achieve Logistics Excellence.

  • You conceive, develop, validate, and share improved end-to-end logistics processes across receiving, inventory, pick/pack/ship, transportation, and trade compliance, to deliver business objectives.

  • You apply structured problem-solving (e.g., DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management, Kanban, mistake proofing, Fishbone, 5 Whys, SIPOC) to remove variation and waste.

  • You perform process and data analyses to identify root causes, risks, and implement corrective/preventive actions in partnership with cross-functional teams.

  • You build and execute a cost transformation plan aligned to L&D objectives, tracking benefits with standardized metrics and routinely reporting results to leadership.

  • You create and sustain an innovative, Logistics Excellence culture by coaching, mentoring, and building Lean Six Sigma bench strength across L&D.

  • You create and lead a Logistics Excellence assessment program for Dexcom and vendor-managed logistics locations.

  • You act as a project manager to deliver objectives on time and within budget while meeting QMS, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements.

  • You are a proactive problem solver and excellent communicator, who excels in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks and timelines.

  • You have deep experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Operations and a track record of driving measurable, sustainable improvements.

  • You have expert understanding of Lean Six Sigma and the ability to teach, coach, and influence at all levels of the organization to drive sustained change.

  • You demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills, working effectively across functional teams with minimal supervision.

  • You excel at managing complex, cross-functional projects and communicating status through standardized metrics.

  • Your toolkit includes leading kaizens, DMAIC, value stream mapping, 5S, Kanban, and root-cause analysis methods.

  • You have Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or willing to pursue within 6 months).

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree anda minimum of 8-12 years of relatedexperience.
