Job description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the transportation department. This pivotal role involves managing end-to-end logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory, and freight management, to ensure seamless product flow and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Oversee transportation operations including dispatch, route planning, maintenance, and shipping & receiving.
  • Manage transportation planning and fleet management to ensure timely delivery while optimizing freight costs.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across warehousing, materials handling, and dispatching functions.
  • Monitor inventory levels through inventory control practices; implement demand planning strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards such as forklift operation protocols and materials handling procedures.
  • Analyze logistics data using analytics tools to identify opportunities for operational enhancements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in transportation operations management or logistics leadership roles.
