Job description

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clean and properly store Tablet Press Tooling
  • Determine condition of Tablet Press Tooling and recondition tools as required
  • Maintain adequate inventory of tool polishing components and measurement equipment
  • Measure and record critical dimensions of Tablet Press Tooling on Inspection Reports
  • Maintain Inspection Reports for new and existing Tablet Tooling
  • Maintain tooling usage information on Tooling Tracker Report
  • Establish and maintain required inventory levels of Tablet Press Tooling
  • Provide training to the Tableting operations area as required
  • Upkeep of tooling inventory

REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform all tasks defined above.
  • Must have working knowledge of computers including MS Office applications.
  • Must be familiar with all OSHA and GMP regulations.
  • Ability to move about to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations relative to job requirements.
  • Ability to write and prepare business letters, memorandums and reports.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand , reach and crouch. Reasonable accommodations may be made where necessary.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.

WORK CONDITIONS
Subject to moderate noise level
Subject to high noise levels where hearing protection is required and all personnel protective equipment is required.
Subject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes from reagents, odors, powders, dust and other particles.
