The group you'll be a part of
In the Deposition Product Group (DPG), we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. DPG has a proven track record of constant innovation that has resulted in a market leading suite of technology enabling products and a dynamic, winning culture.
The impact you'll make
As a Technical Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact towards maintaining and increasing our product leadership position by managing programs to develop new products and features to realize our product roadmaps. You will have the opportunity to support a product development program, from concept and feasibility (C&F) through product release, to help execute our product roadmap. The role is highly cross-functional, comprised of managing matrixed teams of engineering, process technology, marketing, software, services, supply chain, and manufacturing to achieve program objectives. The role also provides the opportunity to work with management to influence decision making.
What you'll do
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure program schedules, performance metrics, and delivery meet business requirements on time and within budget.
  • Successfully navigate multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Understand potential program risks and monitor certain mitigations to ensure they are appropriately executed by the cross-functional team
  • Develop and maintain program timelines and key dependencies with key program stakeholders.
  • Present program updates to leadership, ensuring clear communication of progress, challenges, and strategic decisions to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve processes and inspire alignment.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects from inception to impactful results.

Who we're looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
  • This is a graduate eligible role.
  • Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the company.

Preferred qualifications
  • Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures.
  • Experience in or knowledge of semiconductor fabrication, semiconductor equipment operations, or related industries is a plus.
  • CAD experience, particularly with CREO and Teamcenter, is a bonus.
  • SAP experience or familiarity with another ERP system is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools, including MS Project, PlanView, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master.
  • Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is also a plus.
