Manager - Project Performance - Freezers PM Team:
Reporting to the Director of Project Management - you will lead a team of up to project managers accountable for the technical schedule and financial performance of JBT Marel freezing and refrigeration equipment. You will ensure that the team delivers the highest quality product, on time, and within the project budget, with a customer first mentality. You will serve as the primary internal point of contact for Project Managers facilitating effective interaction with Customers, Sales, Applications, Product Line Managers, Service, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering during the order execution phase of projects.
Essential Duties:
  • Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and financial reporting
  • Creates strategic project plans supporting segment growth while contributing to cost and lead time reductions.
  • Tracks continuous improvement activities with respect to change order process, ASC 606 Revenue Compliance and additional initiatives as identified.
  • Provides technical overview and participates in technical sessions that will influence product safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Drives order inbounding Prospect Review process to deliver well scoped projects.
  • Travels to customer sites (Globally) up to 20% to support the PM teams as needed with respect to customer orders, troubleshooting production problems, and customer personnel training.
  • Ensures project team reports project status bi-weekly to JBT Marel management team
  • Develops and tracks personnel's career objectives and coordinates the growth process by conducting performance reviews, individual interviews, and recommending training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborates with Project Management, Product Management and Engineering teams to proactively research and develop concepts and proposals relative to specific customer requests

Qualifications:
• BS Degree in related field required
• MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
• PMP Certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' experience leading highly productive teams required
• Ability to develop, monitor, analyze, and control project budgets
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong root cause analysis techniques
• Strong reporting and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiating, planning, verbal, and written communications skills
• Experience with ERP (SAP/Oracle/Syteline) business system software
• Computer skill expertise in spreadsheets, MS Project, MS Office Suite software applications
• Understand process flow charts
• Design of experiments methodology
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings
This role is onsite in Sandusky, OH
Hybrid schedule 3 days in office/2 remote
Must be willing to travel up to 20% when needed to attend meetings and visit customer sites
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
