The TIM Technical Lead will deliver competitive advantage to the business by providing Technical Leadership (product formulation, packaging, specifications) and leading/supporting technical capability knowledge transfer. It is crucial to have solid knowledge about food processing and engineering. This position requires daily interaction with manufacturing teams.

  • Project management skills that are action-orientated with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple, complex projects, prioritize, and manage budgets, risk and timelines.
  • Execute Alternative Lines Qualifications (ALQ), providing appropriate level of technical support and troubleshooting to execute trials & Commissioning, Qualification, and Verification (CQV) objectives and ensure proper documentation of each activity.
  • Roll out manufacturing standards process specific to capability building and training for plant colleagues.
  • Actively participate in technical readiness level (TRL/TRAM) reviews and discussions.
  • Process background with a demonstrated understanding of statistical, modeling and simulation tools.
  • Influencing the technical direction of the business to deliver benefit using organizational awareness and clear communication.
  • Ensure that foundational skills/capabilities keep pace with technological advancements.
  • You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with at least 75% of your activities on the plant floor.

You are an internally recognized expert in process development and process engineering and identify, define, and solve complex business problems by applying your broad technical and consumer knowledge and in-depth understanding of manufacturing technology related to Mondelez products. You serve as a senior technical resource for the organization, regularly interacting with senior management.
How you will contribute:
You will support development, optimization and specification of processes that deliver consumer benefit through new products, quality improvements and cost savings opportunities. You will develop project objectives, technical approach, project plans, deliverables, and timelines to deliver solutions on time and on budget, and execute against these plans, all while providing status updates to stakeholders. As a technical leader for process development and process technologies, you will: continually evolve your business-relevant expertise; define and share technical best practices; influence technical direction for the benefit of the business and drive the technical development of people in R&D through teaching, coaching, and mentoring, and identifying future technical leaders.

Education / Certifications:
BS in Engineering or Food Science required.
Green belt certification.
7 years of industry experience required.
Travel requirements: >10% of the time, as needed by the business.
Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
