The role.

Innomotics is looking for a Field Service Engineer for our Medium Voltage Drives that will coordinate, lead, implements and/or perform service for new equipment installations, upgrades, retrofits, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and training.

 Pennsylvania;  Illinois;  Kansas;  Michigan;  Missouri;  Ohio;  Texas

Responsibilities:

 Conducts on-site technical and operational support in the design, development, installation and maintenance of equipment and systems of a very complex nature.

 Performs, startup and commissioning, upgrades, preventative maintenance, training and emergency break fix.

 Leads the most complex equipment installation, trial runs, investigative tests, repairs and overhauls.

 Performs the most complex and technically demanding work within technical or paraprofessional area. Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes. Independently seeks solutions complex and unusual problems before contacting others.

Be able to train on the job and in a classroom, share knowledge and mentor colleague's, while leading the most complex product and service training.
 Generates and submits reports covering all job activity. Guides the maintenance of very complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.  Guides the review of very complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout task duration.
 Assume customer responsibilities, special tasks, and other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Responsible for ensuring that working conditions are safe at all times.
Will communicate with Innomotics business units and customers to determine requirements and provide support and information to our customers.
Required to travel frequently to both US based and International customer sites to investigate customer problems.  Will conduct failure investigations and monitor customer complaints and concerns to ensure the customer receives a satisfactory solution.
Have flexibility to work overtime based on workload and have the ability to work both

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:       

 Bachelor's Degree in engineering or similar field
8+ years of experience with Medium Voltage Drives

Successfully demonstrates extensive knowledge in Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), Process Automation and Controls, PLC programming, field excitation, Syncronous and Induction Motors

 Must be able to travel up to 100% of time to customer job sites

 You must possess key skills such as budgeting, conflict resolution, negotiating, influencing, quality centered, action orientation, flexibility and team leadership
 You should be able to feel comfortable providing field service engineering and administrative recommendations in customer meetings and job site reviews
 

The pay for this position is $87,000 - $149,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
