Job description

Rocky Waters Motor Inn is a one-of-a-kind property where genuine, personal hospitality sets us apart. As a Houseperson, you are an essential part of the team that keeps our property looking and functioning at its best - maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, supporting the Innkeeper team, caring for our grounds and public spaces, and responding to basic maintenance needs as they arise. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes real pride in a job well done and understands that a clean, well-maintained property is the foundation of a great guest experience.


What You'll Do

Property Care & Standards

  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, including replacing bed linens and restocking room supplies to AATMOS standards
  • Maintain property grounds and public spaces in excellent condition at all times
  • Assist in laundry operations including sorting, pre-treatment, washing, drying, and folding of hotel linens
  • Stock, maintain, and organize storage closets and facilities with proper inventory levels
  • Follow all AATMOS safety, sanitation, and standard operating procedures throughout each shift

Maintenance & Security

  • Respond to basic maintenance issues in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy
  • Report damaged property and any safety or security concerns to the appropriate team members promptly
  • Maintain the safety of guests and the security of all guest units at all times
  • Apply working knowledge of basic hand and power tools to address general repair needs as assigned

Team & Communication

    • Stay accessible and responsive to the front desk, Innkeeper team, and Operations Manager throughout each shift
    • Record and respond to guest service requests accurately and in a timely manner
    • Support fellow team members across the Innkeeper team and property operations as needed
