Standard Hours: 40.00
Shift: Shift 2
Shift Details: Shift start at 1:00PM to 9:30PM Holidays: Rotating holidays Weekends: Every other weekend
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing functions in the Linen Department which includes counting returned linens, restocking, loading, pack preparation, and deliveries according to approved procedures. Pulling full linen carts weighing upwards of 200-300lbs. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
1 year of Labor or Warehouse experience preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
TRAINING DESCRIPTION:
One to two months on-the-job training to become proficient is provided.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Works well in a team environment. Meets expectations of hospital needs in an active work environment. Ability to adapt to changing daily needs based on hospital needs. Knowledge of Linen Department techniques and computer functions preferred. Ability to follow instructions in the use of: Computer, hand held palms, and heat transfer machine.
