Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure operations, platform stability, and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization, cloud platforms, networking, storage, and infrastructure automation.

This role requires an engineer who can manage production systems, troubleshoot critical issues, improve infrastructure reliability, and support ongoing transformation projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain enterprise Windows and Linux server environments
  • Administer VMware / virtualization platforms including provisioning, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
  • Support cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure environments
  • Configure and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity services
  • Monitor server, storage, backup, and network health to ensure uptime and performance
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents, outages, and performance bottlenecks
  • Manage backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions
  • Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and application teams for platform support
  • Implement infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible
  • Maintain system documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, patching, and vulnerability standards
  • Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure / Systems Engineering
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, or virtualization platforms
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, load balancers)
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure
  • Good knowledge of storage, SAN/NAS, backup, and disaster recovery
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or automation tools
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Datadog, or Nagios
  • Experience supporting enterprise production environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
