Position Overview
Assume a vital position as a key member of a high-performing team that delivers infrastructure and performance excellence. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future at one of the world's largest and most influential companies.
As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorganChase within Employee Compute, you will apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. You will continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise, leading the deployment of enterprise software solutions across critical platforms.
Job Responsibilities
  • Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate to high scope.
  • Drive workstreams or projects consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies, with a primary focus on enterprise software deployment.
  • Architect and implement changes across platforms to resolve issues and modernize technology processes.
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative solutions for complex technical problems.
  • Lead automation initiatives using scripting/programming (Python, PowerShell, .NET) and AI/Agentic AI to fully automate software delivery and operational solutions.
  • Consider upstream/downstream data, systems, and technical implications; advise on mitigation actions.
  • Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Ensure automated software and security delivery/updates for enterprise platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance excellence.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, software deployment, or related fields
  • Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
  • Experienced knowledge of infrastructure technology and scripting/programming languages (Python, PowerShell, .NET, etc.)
  • Proven experience leveraging AI and agentic AI to automate and develop enterprise software delivery solutions
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product domain
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to execute creative solutions for technical challenges
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience deploying enterprise software solutions in large-scale environments.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar change management and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with security best practices for enterprise software delivery.
  • Experience leading automation projects using AI/agentic AI.
