Job description

ResolveSoft, Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Analyst/Programmer to serve in a key role in a modernization program. This position is essential to the data migration strategy, which involves transferring legacy Informix data to Salesforce and to the Snowflake EDW via ETL pipelines. In this role, you will design analytical data models, oversee database performance and integrity, and assist in modernizing their reporting systems from legacy tools to Snowflake-based analytics.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and validate data migration strategies between Salesforce, Informix, and Snowflake EDW, ensuring data integrity throughout transitions

• Design new analytical data models on the Enterprise Data Platform (Snowflake + AWS Glue + S3)

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), AWS Glue, or comparable tools

• Implement and configure AWS Data Migration Service and related AWS data ingestion/transformation components

• Monitor database performance; implement indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques

• Establish and manage backup/recovery procedures for Informix and Snowflake databases

• Support modern reporting and data visualization using Tableau, Power BI, R Studio, or equivalent tools

• Manage database security: user access, roles, permissions, data masking, and encryption (FIPS-validated)

• Work closely with the Federal Project Manager and Business Intelligence teams to provide reporting data

• Maintain comprehensive documentation: DB architecture, configurations, change logs, and compliance reports

• Train business users on new data models and reporting tools

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering required; Master's preferred

• 4+ years of software development experience including ETL tool development (Oracle Warehouse Builder or Oracle Data Integrator)

• Demonstrated Snowflake experience required; Informix and Oracle database experience required

• Familiarity with ODBC/JDBC connections and Snowflake integrations

• AWS experience (Glue, S3, Data Migration Service) strongly preferred

• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data warehousing concepts

• Experience with federal data security, records retention (NARA), and NIST compliance requirements

• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, R Studio) preferred

• Must be eligible for NACI security clearance; US Citizenship or Permanent Resident

Security Clearance Requirement:  NACI clearance required (must be eligible at start); PIV card required after 6 months of service

Compensation:  Competitive, commensurate with experience. Government contract position – benefits package available.
