Job Summary:
NTT DATA North America is a leading business and technology services provider, seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with the Client’s mission and managing projects within approved scope, budget, schedule, and risk parameters.
Responsibilities:
• overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects that align with the Client’s mission to provide innovative, reliable, and secure technology solutions
• managing projects within the Government-approved scope, budget, schedule, and risk parameters by leveraging industry-standard project management methodologies
• collaborate closely with the Government and integrated project teams to foster communication, ensure alignment, and promote a collaborative work environment
• track and manage all IT projects in a centralized repository to streamline reporting and provide visibility into project status
• ensure the delivery of comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including governance documentation
• facilitate transition activities as projects move into Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
• provide end-user training and ensure a smooth handoff
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of 8 years' experience supporting project management roles/responsibilities as described above
• Master's degree (or equivalent work experience, e.g. Bachelor degree plus an additional 3 years' experience)
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Project management certification (PMP, Agile)
Preferred:
• Schedule and budget tracking tools (MS Project) experience
• Risk assessment frameworks experience
• Centralized repository management (e.g., Jira) experience
• Governance documentation creation experience
• End-user training facilitation
